  Popped in to grab a last minute bday cake for my daughter...the baker suggested the chocolate truffle double layer cake with buttercream icing and melted chocolate...OMG the best cake ever!! Best $13 I've ever spent! Highly recommended bakery department and super friendly service.

  I try to avoid this Safeway as much as possible! Never an in-out thing because they have maybe 2 cashiers max during the busiest times of the day! On cashier took a total of 6 mins to ring through a basket of stuff from start to finish! Terrible produce and fruit, had to bring back a bag of carrots because they were rotten and it took forever to get someone at the customer service desk! I will drive the extra minute to Sobeys or Save on foods to get exceptional customer service and products!

  I mostly shop here for the Seafood, great varieties, the prices are always good and the customer service in the seafood department is always top notch.
